Atlazi can remember preferences you want it to keep for your next trips, like "I prefer aisle seats" or "we travel with a toddler". It uses them in your chats so you do not have to repeat yourself, and it keeps nothing you did not ask for or agree to.
Everything it remembers is on one page in Settings, where you can change or remove it at any time.
Asking Atlazi to remember something
In any chat, say something like "Remember that I prefer aisle seats". Atlazi saves it, and the chat shows "Remembered" with "Undo" for a short while.
- To remove something, ask in a chat, for example "Forget that I prefer aisle seats", or forget it on the memory page.
- When your memory is full, Atlazi tells you. Forget something to make room, or on the free plan, Atlazi+ keeps more.
- Nothing is saved from a private chat.
Suggestions to remember
On a plan that includes suggestions, such as Atlazi+, Atlazi may notice something you said about yourself and ask "Remember this for your next trips?". It is kept only if you choose "Remember". Choose "No thanks" and nothing is saved.
- Turn off "Suggest things to remember" on the memory page and Atlazi only remembers what you ask it to.
- About something saved more than a year ago, Atlazi may ask "Is this still right?". Choose "Keep it" or "Forget it".
The "What Atlazi remembers" page
Open Settings and choose "What Atlazi remembers" under Privacy & data. The page lists everything Atlazi remembers for you, by topic or newest first, with where each item came from and when.
- Choose Edit to change the words of an item, or Forget to remove it. A forgotten item can be brought back with Undo for a short while.
- Open the chat an item came from, unless that chat was deleted.
- A meter shows how many items are saved out of the number your plan includes.
Getting a copy or forgetting everything
- On the web, "Download a copy" saves everything Atlazi remembers, with where each item came from, as a file.
- In the app, "Share a copy" gives you the same as text you can save or send.
- "Forget everything" removes all of it at once. Atlazi asks first, and you can undo it for a short while.
Turning memory off
Switch off "Use memory in chats" on the memory page. While it is off, Atlazi does not read or save anything there. What it already remembers stays on the page, where you can still see, change or remove it.
A private chat never uses your memory, whether memory is on or off.
Sensitive details and your permission
Some preferences say something about your health, a disability or access needs, or your beliefs, like a gluten-free diet, a diet you follow for your faith or a wheelchair-friendly room. These get extra protection, so Atlazi keeps them only if you allow it. If you ask it to remember one before that, it tells you to allow sensitive details first.
- Open "What Atlazi remembers" in Settings and choose Review next to Sensitive details.
- Read what the permission means and choose "Allow". Only your own tap on Allow gives it: no chat and no reply can.
- Atlazi can then remember these details when you ask, and use them to plan. Each one is marked Sensitive on your memory page.
Like the rest of your chat, sensitive details are sent to our AI providers only to answer you, never for ads.
Taking the permission back
On the same screen, choose "Take back permission" and confirm. Atlazi deletes every sensitive detail it remembers right away and stops remembering new ones. Your other preferences stay.
Taking the permission back cannot be undone. If you only want one detail gone, forget that item on the memory page instead.
