Managing your saved trip

Edit your day-by-day itinerary on Atlazi: add and reorder stops, switch days, map and optimize the route, ask Atlazi for changes, and go back to an earlier version in the trip history.

A saved trip is a living plan, not a fixed printout. Everything the planner drafted becomes editable: you can reshape any day by hand, drop in new places, ask Atlazi for changes, and see it all on a map. This article covers the tools that turn a first draft into the trip you actually want.

Your trip opens on the cockpit, with tabs for the itinerary, bookings, budget, packing, documents and map. Most day-to-day editing happens on the itinerary tab, one day at a time.

Editing your days

The itinerary is organized into days. Use the day switcher at the top to move between them, and work on one day at a time.

  • Add to a day: search a real place, add a flight, stay or activity, or drop a blank note.
  • Reorder stops by dragging them, or use move up and move down. Edit any stop to change its title, times or place.
  • Remove a stop or a whole day when plans change, and add a day to extend the trip.

Lock a stop you are sure about. A locked stop is kept exactly as-is when AI reshapes the day, so a fixed reservation never gets moved.

Map and route

Every day has a map of its stops, and there is a full-trip map too. Seeing the shape of a day makes it easy to spot backtracking.

  • Switch between the day map and the full trip map to check how your stops sit together.
  • Optimize route adds the walking time and distance between the stops on each day and keeps your order, so you can see how much ground a day covers.
  • The day summary totals your walking, active time and estimated cost.

Asking the assistant to change your trip

You do not have to edit everything by hand. Open your trip, choose "Ask about this trip" and tell Atlazi what to change, in plain language. Its suggestions arrive on a card in the chat, and nothing changes on your trip until you apply them.

  1. On your trip, choose "Ask about this trip" and type a request like "make day 2 more relaxed" or "add a rainy-day option".
  2. Atlazi answers with a card of suggested changes, one row for each stop it would add, remove, move, swap or retime. Your locked and booked stops stay as they are, and a removal you did not ask for is marked "Not in your message" and starts unticked.
  3. Untick anything you do not want, then choose Apply. The button says how many changes it will make. "Edit" lets you correct your request, and "Dismiss" puts the suggestion aside.
  4. Changed your mind? Choose "Undo" on the result within 30 minutes and your trip goes back to how it was. After that, open Trip history and restore an earlier version.

On the free plan you can change a saved trip from the chat a set number of times each month, and the card tells you how many you have left before you apply. Atlazi+ includes many more. A trip that has used its changes from the chat for the month can still be edited by hand. Editing by hand, the map and optimizing the route are free on every trip.

Confirming a big change

Some changes take a lot away at once. For those, Atlazi asks you to type the name of your trip before anything is changed, so a big change never happens by accident. A trip without a name asks for its first destination instead.

  • Removing or swapping five or more places at once, or emptying a day of all the places that can change.
  • Changing the trip dates in a way that drops days with places on them.
  • Restoring an earlier version of the trip from the chat.
  • Replacing the suggested items on your packing list with a new list made by Atlazi. Items you added yourself stay.
  1. Choose the button on the card. A window opens and lists what will be removed.
  2. Type the name of your trip in the box. Upper or lower case, accents and extra spaces do not matter.
  3. The button turns on once the name matches. Choose it to make the change. You can still undo it for 30 minutes.

Trip history and versions

Every trip keeps a history. On the itinerary, open Trip history: the Activity tab shows who changed what and when, and the Versions tab keeps earlier versions of your itinerary that you can go back to.

  • Activity lists changes made in the app and with Atlazi. Choose "With Atlazi" to see only the changes made from the chat.
  • Each version is marked "Manual save", "Auto-saved version" or "Before a change with Atlazi". The last one is your itinerary as it was just before Atlazi changed it.
  • Choose "Save current version" any time to keep a plan you are happy with.
  • Choose "Restore" on a version to replace your current itinerary with it. This cannot be undone. The free plan restores your most recent versions, and Atlazi+ restores any saved version.

Frequently asked questions

How do I move a stop to a different time?

Drag the stop to reorder it within the day, or open Edit on the stop to set its start and end time. Use move up and move down if you prefer buttons to dragging.

What does Optimize route do?

It adds the walking time and distance between the stops on each day and keeps your order. It does not reshuffle your plan; it just shows how the day connects.

Will AI change stops I have already booked?

No. Booked stops and stops you lock are kept exactly as they are whenever the assistant suggests changes, and you review every suggested change before anything is applied.

Can I undo a change?

Yes. A change you applied from the chat can be undone with "Undo" for 30 minutes. After that, open Trip history and restore an earlier version from the Versions tab to replace your current itinerary. Viewing the history and saving your own version are free on every plan; the free plan restores your most recent versions, and Atlazi+ restores any of them.

Why does Atlazi ask me to type the name of my trip?

Because the change takes a lot away at once, such as five or more places, a whole day of places or days of your trip. Typing the name is a deliberate second step, so it never happens by accident. You can still undo the change for 30 minutes.
