Atlazi answers questions about places, your trips and the app, and it can change your trip or your lists when you ask. This article explains how your chats work: which chat opens, how chats about a trip stay together, how to compare offers, and what a private chat is.

Chats about a trip
Choose "Ask about this trip" on a trip and your question is about that trip. Atlazi opens your latest chat about it from the last seven days, so you pick up where you left off, or starts a new chat when there is none.
- While you are asking about a trip, Chat history lists your chats about that trip together at the top, under the name of the trip.
- The pencil next to the name of the trip starts a new chat about it.
- If you can only view a trip someone shared with you, Atlazi answers your questions about it but cannot change it.
Why the assistant sometimes opens on its home
When you open the assistant, it goes back to the chat you were in only if you left that chat less than 30 minutes ago. After that, it opens on its home, where your recent chats are one tap away.
This way a new question starts fresh instead of landing at the end of a conversation you finished earlier. The 30 minutes count from when you left the chat. A chat you open on purpose, from Chat history, a link or a notification, always opens.
Comparing offers side by side
Ask Atlazi to compare two or three offers of the same kind that it showed you in the chat, such as stays, flights or things to do. For example: "compare the first two hotels". If it is not clear which ones you mean, Atlazi asks.
- The card puts the offers side by side with their price, rating, distance and cancellation, wherever an offer lists them. "Best" marks the clear winner of a row.
- Under a price, the card shows whether it went up or down since the chat showed the offer.
- "See options" opens the partner, where you check the final price and book.
- "Add to list" puts the offer on your booking list without a new message. The card then says "In your list", with "Undo" for a short while.
- An offer the chat no longer shows can no longer be added, but its partner can still be opened.
Private chats
Before you send the first message of a new chat, you can turn on "Private chat" above the message box.
- Nothing from a private chat is remembered, and what Atlazi already remembers about you is not used in it.
- Your profile settings still apply, except your diet and access needs, which a private chat does not use.
- The chat stays in your Chat history, marked as private, until you delete it.
- A chat stays private, or not private, the way it was started. You cannot switch it later, so start a new chat when you want a private one.
Your chat history
Chat history keeps your chats, newest first, with pinned chats at the top. You can search them, and each chat has a menu to rename, pin, archive or delete it.
- Archived chats move to the Archived tab, and you can move them back to your chats.
- A deleted chat disappears from your list. If you change your mind, our support team can bring it back within 30 days.
When Atlazi asks you to update
Sometimes the assistant says "Update Atlazi to keep using the assistant". It means there is a newer version of Atlazi than the one you have open, and the assistant needs it to keep going.
- On the web, choose "Reload" or reload the page.
- In the app, choose "Reload": Atlazi gets the new version and starts again. Closing Atlazi completely and opening it again also gets the new version when it is ready.
- If the button says "Open the store", get the newest Atlazi from the App Store or Google Play.
Frequently asked questions
Why did the assistant not open my last chat?
It goes back to your last chat only if you left it less than 30 minutes ago. After that it opens on its home, and your recent chats are one tap away there and in Chat history.
Can I make a chat private after I started it?
No. A chat stays private, or not private, the way it was started. Start a new chat and turn on "Private chat" before your first message.
Does a private chat use my diet or access needs?
No. A private chat does not use your diet and access needs from your profile, or anything Atlazi remembers about you. Your other profile settings still apply.
Do help chats use my messages?
No. Help chats with Atlazi about the app, your account or a booking, which you start on the Support page, do not use your assistant messages.
Do I need Atlazi+ to compare offers?
No. The side by side card, opening a partner and adding an offer to your booking list work the same on every plan.
